Ramayana was not a magical illusion rather hallucinations. It is based on the story of Rama who is portrayed as a man who is true to his duties and Sita, who is known for her sacrifice and Laxman displayed brotherhood and the entire story revolves around the conditions they faced in their exile and the prologue and epilogue explains the other elements.
