Which equation represents the line passing through the points (3, 2) and (−9, 6)? x − 3y = 9 x + 3y = 9 3x − y = −9 3x + y = 9

What I would do is isolate y in all those equations and then look at them and compare them to the points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Check which equation satisfies both the points i.e. (3, 2) and (−9, 6) by substituting in the given equations.

That's even easier, stupid me. :D
