What does the heliocentric theory by Galileo have to do with the offset distance in relativity?

OpenStudy (dan815):

do u know how the offset distance in relativity is calculated

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with suvat to find t and then plugg it into d=vt

OpenStudy (dan815):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (dan815):

the only thing i can think about is that the earths revoltution around the sun makes it so that the distance from the earth to the distance of any light source is changing so, theory of special and general relativity comes into account

Thanks anyway
