3(m+1.5)=1.5(2m+3)?
Good afternoon! How you'd answer this is you take the number outside of the parenthesis and multiply it by both parts inside, then move the remaining number to one side and the letter to the other. So what you'd be left with is 3m+4.5=3m+1.5. Do you have an answer bank?
what do u mean?
An answer bank, do you have one?
no.um
Ok, after multiplying the numbers outside of the parenthesis you are left with 33m+4.5=3m+1.5. From that point get all the m's on one side and all the numbers on the other.
not 33m bumblebree....just 3m
I meant 3m, not 33. Sorry, my keyboard is whack.
That and I have two cats helping me type :)
lol...thats interesting
I got -3 is that the answer?
no...did you get 0 = -3
yea thats what i meant
If you take 3m+4.5=3m+1.5 and take away 3m from both sides, you are left with no answer because the m's are all gone.
oh so what do i put for my answer
your result should be 0 = -3, which we know is not true, therefore, there is no solution to this problem
just put NO SOLUTION
Do i just put 0=-3?
Perfect Texaschic :)
Oh ok gee thanks
Because there's no letters left, there's no solution. So you'd put no solution.
oh okaayyy thabks AAAlot
nice explaining BumbleBree :)
Thanks*
