Even though this is science please help! How does friction make sand paper smoother?
it gradually wares down the rough sauce of the sand paper, much like water or weather wares down the rough surfaces of a rock

take a piece of wood, and rub sand paper on it... it will wear down the wood as well as the paper, only at a slower rate...
I really don't know how it can be improved...
because "the experimental error were the friction making the sand paper smoother. This experimental error can be improved by..." i don't know how this can be improved
well im sorry I've done all that I can, im a history geek not a science nerd... it'd be best if you just put your question in the science section
Okay, but thanks anyways.
