If you subtract the death rate from the birth rate of a population, you will calculate what? A. the arithmetic growth rate. B. the expansion rate. C. the carrying capacity. D. the intrinsic growth rate. ***I think it's C but i'm not too sure... is C right? If not, can you please explain? thank you!! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes c is right

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

In demographics, the rate of natural increase (RNI) is the crude birth rate minus the crude death rate of a population. The carrying capacity of a biological species in an environment is the maximum population size of the species that the environment can sustain indefinitely, given the food, habitat, water and other necessities available in the environment. so i think its B.
