Always put it in the format of XA=Y and fill in what you know and solve for the unknown X is your initial value, A is the ratio (which can be converted to percent by multiplying *100) and Y is the resultant If you already have the percentage, convert it back into a ratio (i.e. 120% is 1.2) For your problem 43 would be the resultant (Y) and 1.2 will be the ratio (A), could you set up the problem and solve it?
