The graph of f(x)= 1/x^2-c has a vertical asymptote at x = 3. Find c.?

OpenStudy (debbieg):

The graph of a rational function has a VA where the den'r is =0. So you need to find c such that: \(\large x^2-c=0\) has a solution x=3. So substitute in x=3 and solve for c.
