Describe scalar and vector quantities. Include a definition and provide at least one example of how they are alike and how they are different.

Hi mesha- scalars only describe the magnitude of something (for instance, length)- but a vector describes the length AND the direction... it's the difference between speed and velocity. Speed says "I'm going 10 m/s", velocity says "I'm going 10 m/s northward". Make sense?
