On a calendar it says that there are seven days in a week. We take Monday-Friday as week days when we do work and we call Saturday and Sunday the "Weekend" because it is when the five days of work is over it is the weeks end. Therefore if today is Monday then it cannot be the "Weeks End."

For two statement to be logically equivalent, they must both be true in relation to one another. Example: Statement: If this is the best school, then this school creates great lawyers. Logically Equivalent Statement: If this school does not create great laywers, then it is not the best school.
