Two blocks are connected by a massless string as shown in the figure. The string passes over a massless, frictionless pulley. The table is frictionless. m1 is greater than m2. The tension in the string is..? And also one that im almost sure I know, a martian weighs 600 N on her home planet, when she is somewhat far out of the atmosphere, she weights a little less than 600 N correct?

That martian has a lower weight, yep! We need a diagram for that first part!

The diagram is a flat surface, with mass one stationary on it. On the corner of the table is the pulley with one side attached to the heavier mass number 1, and the second side hanging down off the table attached to Mass 2.|dw:1380585225032:dw|
