An object moves along the x-axis, its position at each time t> 0 given by (72t^2)-(3t^4/4) Determine the time interval(s), if any, during which the object slows down. I think I should find the derivative of the position to give me velocity. Put the last sentence of the question confuses me. When would we say the object is slowing down? When it's velocity is negative?
