So I am not sure if Forensic science is considered a health science but the topic is about hair analysis. How are pieces of hair (evidence) compared?

They separate the sample into two discrete batches.

Then they wash one batch in an ordinary shampoo, and the other in new improved Head and Shoulders. 

The results?

'Well this side, you can still see the dandruff.  But the side washed in new Head and Shoulders is Completely flake free.'

New Head and Shoulders.  For dandruff free hair, all day, everyday.
