Convert the radian measure to degree measure. pi/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I keep getting 355 as my answer and it doesn't match my answer choices!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isn't that just 36 degrees?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg. Is there a way you solved it?

Directrix (directrix):

A circle "has" 360 degrees. The perimeter of a circle is its circumference. Let r = 1 as in the unit circle. So, radians are to 2π as x degrees is to 360 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just wrote it as 180/5

Directrix (directrix):

(π/5) /(2π) = x/360 Solve for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did this: (pi/5)*(180 deg/pi) I think my calculator was in the wrong mode. -__-

Thanks guys!
