OpenStudy (yellowlegoguy99):

Which of the following would be best measured using kilometers? length of a woodworking nail height of a person width of a grain of rice distance from Tokyo to Washington, D.C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. Distance from Tokyo to Washington, DC. A kilometer is a little over half a mile, so it's the only one that makes sense.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kilometers is used to measure large distances.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D... Look up a kilometer next time. If you had tried you would have seen that a kilometer is too big for height of a person, length of a nail and besides milimeters are the biggest thing that can be used to measure a grain of rice. Try it yourself or at least post what you think is the answer along with the question.

OpenStudy (jack1):

b if it's a realll REALLLy tall person ... ;D
