which term does not represent the same data as the others x- value output range second element

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Okay, so look: (x, y) (domain, range) (input, output) (first element, second element) Which one is different?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x, y)

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Okay - that is not what I mean. Gr, I need to know how to explain things properly. So, in your answer choices, you have x-value, output, range, and second element. Now what I drew there was the x and y values. All these choices represent x or y values. The one that is different is x-value because B, C, and D represent y-values. Do you get it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes xD see you explain it a lot easier than my schooling :p

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

I know, right. Well, if you live in Florida like me, then school really would be confusing. There is a new Common Core STandard thing, and even for the younger ones it is hard. I mean, they don't give steps for me and show me confusing examples. Yesterday, I was with my little sister, she is in kindergarden, she didn't understand because instead of them putting 6 - 3 , they make her put 6 "counters" (circles) and then say how many counters would that equal - its like, they dont use numbers! Gr. I am going to send hate mail to Gov. Rick Scott because of that.

I don't live in Florida, although have been, very pretty place lol. But that's stupiddddd why would they do that I mean tbh I probably wouldn't even have understood... that's pretty sad lol.

I know, I mean I am helping people in college in other places with theri algebra, but for me algebra is hard - I mean how is that? Oh well. All I know is that I am not liking florida right now. Anywho...I hope I helped. :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Probably because you don't HAVE to do their work, but you have to do yours. hehe and you did you helped a lot thank you!!! :)

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Lol. You are welcome. ;]
