can someone check and help me with Alg 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whatchya got? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

which one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

for each system of equations you should have 2 lines that eventually intersect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk how to do that:/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u teach me?

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

sure, do you know slope-intercept form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mx + b

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

yes, so graph each given equation (of problem one) on the same coordinate plane, and see where they intersect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright BRB

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Back! sorry

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

ok, just read what I said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay and what would be the slope? 1/1?

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

when you're just given x, then yes, it's assumed to be 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and when it's neg. what direction do i move ?

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

let's say that the slope was -5/16 (made up). from a certain point, you'd go DOWN 5, then RIGHT 16 points until you make another point
