What are some claims about Religious Freedom for my Argument Essay? Medal will be rewarded for your patronage!!! :DDDDD
My first claim: it should be everybody's choice to choose the religion (or lack of religion) without the fear of being judged and ridiculed by others. Religious Freedom is a right everyone should have, not a choice for someone else to make for you.
Not good.
@Compassionate Is there something wrong? If my first claim is not good, well it is, because my teacher approved of my claim or is it the question????
Your claim is an opinion.Though - essays can be opinionated, it doesn't make for a strong "argumentive" essay. Try saying something like - religious freedom is important in America because our founding fathers sought out to create a perfect union, where not only religious rights, but all rights are protected. As well - it is an important aspect to our nation; we are a democracy. In our Pledge, "One Nation Under God."; our homeland was founded on these principles. We are also promised these rights under the United States Constitution. Now, that would make for a good argumentive essay. But don't just copy what I said, incorporate it into your essay.
Also, try mention statistics to a free society, income, ingenuity, etc.
my first claim isn't an opinion, because my teacher okayed me for using it, I just need more claims about Religious Freedom though. @Compassionate
My first claim: it should[[SHOULD: this is an opinion]] be everybody's choice to choose the religion (or lack of religion) without the fear of being judged and ridiculed by others.[[Another Opinion] Religious Freedom is a right everyone should[Another opinion] have, not a choice for someone else to make for you. I would recommend changing it up, and stating the Constitution.
Mention the first amendment.
My teacher said it was perfect for my essay, so it's fine; I understand how it's an opinion, but the only way it would weaken my essay is if I said, " I believe", etc.
@Compassionate What's another claim I could say?

I went away. Still need help? I'm at the hospital and will help with wht I can. But if I go offline again, it's because they called my name.
1. Claim the first amendment 2. Mention the our Founding Fathers and their belief in Christianity 3. Mention free societies, and how they advance greater than oppressed ones.
and those are claims about Religious Freedom @Compassionate
Correct.
what about free societies should I mention
That free societies, societies that have more religious freedom, advance in science and technology, as well as have more happiness.
@Compassionate What were Free Societies like? Can you tell me more about Free Societies.
You're still working on this? Free societies should be intuitive. Democratic societies, societies with liberties and a power of position given to the people - e.g., America and Britain. Parliament and liberties, such as the United States Constitution or Magma Carta. The opposite of a free society is one controlled by the government and where the people have little say-so. Examples are North Korea, China, and Somalia. Compares and contrast the wealth, happiness, crime rate, and living conditions of free societies, or societies that allow religious practice, to those that do not.
Well I am like almost done, but I need more info based on Free Societies to get a better idea of it
