they will intercept. you can tell just by looking at it, but also by the fact that they are not parallel lines. every 2 non-parallel lines eventually intersect. to find the point, make F(t) = M(t) and solve for t. the t you find can be plugged in either F(t) or M(t) [same thing beause it's where they intersect], to find the value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be 1.5*.5=80*20 @Euler271

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no. F(t) = M(t) would be: 1.5t + 20 = 0.5t + 80 solving for t: t = 60. plug that t into either F(t) or M(t) to get price

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait does it matter which one I plug it into

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay the price = 110 @Euler271

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesn't since it's the point at which they intersect, i.e, same x and y [t and f(t)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. the answer would be (60, 110)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you do it step by step again. I have to read it over and over to understand it please, just type it out

@Euler271

@Directrix please help me out with the second part
