if mass is measure of the amount of "stuff" in an object , does an astronaut's mass change on the moon? how can astronaut's jump so high?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mass doesn't change. It's constant everywhere. The weight does change because of the gravitational gravity pull on the object.. Astronauts jump high because the gravitational pull on the moon is much less than that on the earth. The weight is much lower on the moon that when the astronaut is on the surface of the earth
