energy is first converted through photosynthasis which is when the plants take in the sun then comsumers eat the producers and other consumers eat those consumers until they die and decomposers take over

The correct awnser is that if a grass hopper eats a piece of grass then is eaten by a bird, on 10 percent of the energy is passed on. if the bird is eaten by a snake the snake gets 10 percent of the birds energy. there ya go..
