If we describe the motion of a train as 110 km/h to the south, we are describing the train's A. velocity B. acceleration C. average speed

OpenStudy (zpupster):

velocity is distance / time acceleration is distance/t^2 and average speed is ((d1/t1) +(d2/t2))/2 what do you think????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to the south -- rules out speed as speed has no direction km/h -- rules out velocity as this is not the unit Answer here is velocity.

OpenStudy (zpupster):

velocity is distance / time or km/h or velocity or rate or speed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Non~Exlanitory answer would be simply velocity.
