Well here lets set this up and you solve... area of a triangle=0.5bh THe area of this trianle is 338 yards well in the problem it says The height of the triangle is four times its base.. What does this mean? This means that h=4b... So this is what we have 338=0.5(4b)(b) ... (because we replaced the h with the 4b). Can you solve this for b the base now?
