tan x(degrees) =0.3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ATAN(0.3) = x

OpenStudy (austinl):

\(\tan(x^{\circ})=0.3\) I assume we are solving for x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what do i do from there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so do inverse tan of 0.3 Tan^-1(0.3) = x x=16.699 (3dp) Add 180 degrees for each solution till your range

OpenStudy (austinl):

To get rid of a tangent, you need to take it by the inverse of it. \(\tan^{-1}(\tan(x))=\tan^{-1}(0.3)\) \(x=\tan^{-1}(0.3)\)

im so lost lol im doin a credit recovery class online and i have to get at least a 60% to pass but i cant get no more wrong
