Geometry

The difference between the measures of two supplementary angles is 42. Find both angles.

OpenStudy (zpupster):

supplementary angles = 180 degrees complimentary angles = 90 degrees i always got these confused so i remembered that c(3) is less than s(19) so 90<180 ANYWAY |dw:1380741496942:dw|

OpenStudy (zpupster):

180 = x + (x-42)

The answer I got from the equation is 111. I'm not sure if that's correct or not.

OpenStudy (zpupster):

good do a check now what is 111-42

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 69.

OpenStudy (zpupster):

111 + 69 = good job!!
