What is the solution of the following system? 3x+2y+z=7 5x+5y+4z=3 3x+2y+3z=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you familiar with crammar's principle in matrices? Makes it very very simple to solve

OpenStudy (john_es):

May be with eliminatino method (Gauss Jordan method)?

OpenStudy (john_es):

Anyways, try elimination method. The solution is, x=4, y=-1, z=-3. If you need step by step, tell it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, the elim takes forever on 3 variable haha

OpenStudy (john_es):

May be in this system is a little faster :).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol yea, it's already feasible to negate one by multiplying -1

OpenStudy (john_es):

Exact, the first row and the third are very pretty.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hah!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need step by step. :( Thanks to the both of you! :)

Here's the plan, this sort of thing is amazingly tedious and requires the greatest of YOUR care. It is hoped that no one will show you step-by-step. You will not learn to be careful under those circumstances. Please suggest YOUR plan and the method YOU intend to use.
