Slope is found with (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) 2-(-1)/1.5-(-4) 3/5.5=6/11 So it must be either B or D. Insert one of the coordinate sets into B's equation. (-4,-1) -1+1=6/11 * (-4+4) Simplified 0=0. Is that true? Yes.
