I'm not going to be so easy with you on this one :x find the slope first. (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the slopes one right?

@brookew41

No, let's do it together... What are the two coordinates? (1,-4) and (-1,2) you'll get x1 and y1 from the first coordinate. then x2 and y2 come from the second coordinate. 2-(-4), two negatives make a positive so you have 6 in the numerator. -1-1, you have -2 in the denominator. 6/-2 is -3 The number before x in your equations is your slope, so your options are A or D.

Do you know what to do next?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TakeA.I.M. if you still need help, quickly please. I have to go for a while!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh sorry I didnt see you

OpenStudy (anonymous):
