I haven't been on any of these diets, because for the most part diets don't work. The Mediterranean diet is less of a diet and more of a change in lifestyle, which is what most people need if they feel they need to find a "diet" the Mediterranean diet encourages an active lifestyle, and generally contains: high consumption of olive oil, legumes, unrefined cereals, fruits, and vegetables, moderate to high consumption of fish, moderate consumption of dairy products (mostly as cheese and yogurt), wine consumption, and low consumption of meat and meat products. Basically, it's a balanced diet with more nutrition than "empty carbs" or fats, with a healthy, active lifestyle to boot.
