Choose the equation of the line that has a slope of 2/3 and y-intercept of -4.

OpenStudy (azureilai):

if you know the slope and the intercept, it is really easy to write the line y=mx+b m is slope b is intercept, so y=(2/3)x-4

Write the equation in slope-intercept form of the line that has a slope of 2 and contains the point (4, 2).

OpenStudy (azureilai):

You do the same thing as the last one. if the slope is m, and you plug in (4,2) for y and solve for b, then rewrite equation
