In what ways is the Holy Land an important site for all three monotheistic faiths?

Jewish- 1st and a 2nd temples were built and destroyed,"promised land" ( according to the "Torah" ).
Christian,- Jesu_ (I can't say that name) was crucified in there and then, as Christians believe he came down.....
Muslim- Quran says Mohammed tied his horse to the Western Wall and then ascended into heaven to have a look.
