solve the system using the graphing method 2x-y=4 2x+3y=12 Is the answer this I'm going to attach it on a file
Where do the lines intersect? With coordinates (x, y)
they interest in (-3, 2) but I'm not sure if i did the solving correctly
Well, for the two lines you graph you should have, \(2x-y=4\\ -y=-2x+4\\ \color{blue}{y=2x-4}\) and \(2x+3y=12\\ 3y=-2x+12\\ \color{blue}{y=-\dfrac{2}{3}x+4}\) Graph those!
@waffles56 knock knock anyone home?
they intersect in (3,2)?
Correct!
yay thanks :) i had a question on substitution method 5x-2y=-15 2x-y=-6 i got (-3,0) is that correct?
5x-2y=-15 2x-y=-6 2x-y=-6 -y=-2x-6 y=2x+6 5x-2(2x+6)=-15 5x-4x-12=-15 x-12=-15 x=-3 y=2(-3)+6 y=-6+6=0 (-3, 0) Correct! Good job!
thanks so much I'm going to try one with fractions and you let me know if i did any mistakes i would really appreciate :)
Sure, no problem!
