jacks pet dog has been prescribed x mg of a medicine per day. each pill of the medicine is 15 mg of medicine. jack has to give his dog a total of 25 pills. if jack gave his medicine for 7 days, use the expression below to interpret the situation. 25-75x/15 part a. what does x/15 represent? part b. what does the second term of the expression represent? part c. what does the entire expression represent? really having trouble with this question someone please help.

x/15 represents the daily pills the dog should take because every pill has 15mg, dividing the required amount x by 15 gives how many pills the required amount needs to be taken.

the second part tells him if he can stop medicating his dog. because it was a target of 25 pills total until he should be healthy again. and the equation then subtracts from the total the amount of pills that were already administered. In the case of the 7th day, we can already reduce the total amount of pills to take. by 7 times the daily dosage: \[25-7*(x/15)\] In other words the rest keeps track of the number of pills the dog is still looking forward to.

thank you (:
