It's 3. If you look at the questions more carefully, you notice where the grammar mistakes are. 1. In number one, you would use a comma to separate "Even though I don't play today" and "I approach everything" because "Even though I don't play today" cannot stand on its own. 2. "However" is a transitional phrase, which is always at the front of a sentence and is separated from the rest of the sentence by a comma. 3. The semicolon is used correctly in this sentence because it is separating two complete thoughts. 4. It isn't used correctly here because "but the seasons were so short" is not a complete thought and cannot stand on its own. Therefore, C is the correct answer.
