how do you multiply (2x-3)(x^2-5x+7)?
One piece at a time. You have multiplied binomials, right? It is not ANY different.
Distribute 2x + 3 to each term in the trinomial: x^2(2x + 3) - 5x(2x + 3) + 7(2x + 3) Continue distributing: 2x^3 + 3x^2 - 10x^2 - 15x + 14x + 21 Combine like terms: 2x^3 +(3 - 10)x^2 - (15 - 14)x + 21 2x^3 - 7x^2 - x + 21
@naishasilva
oh ok thank you :) you make it easier than myy math teacher would :D
How so?
all she does is make us do one problem wit her. and she doesnt give notes :/ so yeah and she gives us a whole page to do and no one knows how to do those completeely
Well, they're easier than you think. Maybe she wants you to take your own notes. You should bring your tablet to class and take notes on it.
in my school i cant have a tablet unless i have a 504 plan :/ sadly
That is kind of harsh.
oh i know :(
