Find the value of each variable and the measure of each labeled angle. (I have the variable of "x", which is 14. I also have the measure of both of the x angles {50*} But I can't find the value of "y", but I do know that it's measure is 130*. The picture of the angle is below:-)

Yes:-) Because 3x+8 and 5x+4y would equal 180*, and I know that 3x+8 is =to 50*. So I just subtracted 50* from 180* and got 130*, but I still can't figure out the value of "y"

ok so we should do factoring. so lets do 5x+4y=130 (lets say) now we need to find the value of y so we will exclude the value of x. to do so look at the drawing. |dw:1380838572648:dw|
