I have to write a parody of Hamlet's soliloquy in Act III. The famous to be or not to be, that is the question.....I'm having writer's block.

I'm going to write about a career I am considering. So far I have this:

To be a police officer or not to be a police officer, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slanders & threats of criminals
Or to take a stand for justice & protect the innocent

That famous quote was meant if he should live or not. so a paradox would be To live until death strikes or not to be. either way death will still come for us. that's my view hope it hopes in a way

Well our prompt states that we are to put a twist on the soliloquy by discussing another decision to be made. For example: to eat or not to eat, to run or not to run, to ask or not to ask.
