Divide the first equation by 2 so that it is solved for y
Now the coefficient of x is the slope which is the rate of change.
y= x/2 y=-2x+4
The first equation should be x/2-1 The slope is 1/2 The slope of the second one is -2/1
intersection at (0,2)
