what trick does odysseus use to get past the cyclops

When Polyhemus comes back from herding, odysseus and the men give him so that he falls asleep drunken and then they poke his eye out so he cant see the next morning. He screams and yells and when the other cyclops ask him who is hurting him he says its Nbdhy (Odysseus told him his name was Nbdhy) so they go back to sleep thinking its nobody. The men tie themselves on the underbelly of the sheep when polyhemus is sitting at the doorway and letting the sheep out but he doesnt detect odysseus and his men under the thick wool. so they escape and get back to their boat leaving polyhemus the cyclop blind.
