OpenStudy (anonymous):

Two forces are acting on an object. One is to the right at 100 N. The other is to the left at 50 N. The net force causes the object to accelerate at 5 m/s squared. What is the mass of the object?

OpenStudy (matt101):

The net force is 50 N to the right. By F = ma, if F = 50 and a = 5, then m = 10 kg.
