people moved to Mass bay Colony during the colonial period for different reason depending on who they are!
they primarily were pilgrims and poor British people (serfs of the lords....ask more if you want...)!
Pilgrims moved form religious freedom
Poor British people moved for the opportunity to make money as labor, gold mines and etc... (the two i listed were the primary ones)
