For testing glucose in urine, which indicator is more appropriate, benedicts solution or glucose test tape? Please explain why.

ummm...ok...see generally we dont have benedicts solution in our homes. but these test tapes are available at any medical store....do u want d reason as to which gives perfect result? more accurate?

The glucose test tape is probably more sensitive and more quantitative than the Benedict's test. Also, Benedict's will react positively with other sugars besides glucose. The test tape should be absolutely specific for glucose.
