Which of the following contributed most to Japan's defeat of the invading Mongols in the 13th century?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

what are the choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The kamikaze -- or the divine wind. A storm severely damaged the fleet that the Mongols had tried to invade Japan with in their second try, and that was after they were repulsed by fortifications created by the Japanese on the coast. The first try had also suffered storm damage, but in both cases, the Mongols just weren't any good at naval landings or invasions from the sea. Japan successfully fought off the fewer soldiers they had landed, remaining unspoiled by foreign occupation until the end of WW2 centuries later.
