out of these selections social, economic, and political what order is correct for the civil wars consequences? (order from the most to least important)

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Economic would be the first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you! do you know the second?

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

You're welcome! And I would say the second is social.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Anytime :D

Are you sure? I personally think Political would be higher in the list, one of the main reasons for the southern states leaving was the Federal Government having too much power over the states with the new Constitution

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

-Economic structure was destroyed. -Much of the best agricultural land in Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and South Carolina was destroyed. -Many major cities were in ruin - Richmond, Atlanta, Charleston -Cotton crops were destroyed - retreating Confederates burned most crops to prevent capture by federal troops; remaining cotton was confiscated by Union agents as contraband of war. -$1.5 billion of South's capital - mostly in slaves - was destroyed. -Farm values diminished 41% That's why economic should be first.

hey, @snowxangel , would you mind listing some reasons that political would be last? thank you!

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Actually you know what just put politics second. Mikey was right politics would be higher in the list. Social would be last. Just put what he said about politics. Sorry my mistake.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
