Descending polynomials help? Arrange the following polynomial into descending order for x, then interpret the degree of the third term. 2xy^4+2x^2y-3y^2+10x^3 Also, I did this problem: Arrange the following polynomial into descending order and identify the third term. 18x+2x^3-3x^2+10 I think it's -3x^2 is this right?

OpenStudy (savannah_noelle):

@abb0t @Hero Can you guys help me?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

x\(^3\) > x\(^2\)...

OpenStudy (savannah_noelle):

@abb0t lol yeah I'm aware..can you explain how to put it in descending order please? For the second problem I did this: 10, 18x, -3x^2, and 2x^3. Is this incorrect?

OpenStudy (savannah_noelle):

Or would it be 2x^3, -3x^2, 18x, 10
