a die with 6 sides is tossed twice. find the probability that a number divisible by 4 is not rolled.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are 5 numbers that aren't divisible by 4 so the probability of the first and second toss is 5/6 since there are 5 numbers not divisible by 4. Then you multiply 5/6 x 5/6 = 25/36 you simplify answer if possible but not in this case.
