Organisms on a rocky shore compete for all of the following except: affection nutrients space light

OpenStudy (anonymous):

someone plss helpppp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Affection i think

OpenStudy (opcode):

Hmm this question is troubling. Affection may mean mating. Nutrients means food. Space means shelter. Competing for light on a shore is interesting, normally that occurs in the deeper parts of the seas.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you think its light?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its either affection or light..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but why wouldn't it be space there is endless amount of space in the sea

OpenStudy (opcode):

We are talking about the shore... So there is an endless amount of light on shore, why need to compete for it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and organisms on a rocky shore do not compete for affection...im guessing and yeah i agree with @opcode

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks guys!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome! :)

OpenStudy (opcode):

Affection may mean mating... So they MAY be competing for affection. I wish the answer choices were more clear.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah so do I.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you give me a medal please? :D

OpenStudy (opcode):

Done :-).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):
