Okay, first you need to take care of your parenthesis and distribute. q+12-2(q-22)>0 .... q+12-2q+44>0 (it turns into a positive because it was a negative multiplied by a negative. ) Then combine your like terms. q & -2q = -q. So...-q+12>0 then subtract your 12 from both sides to get -q>-12 (Divide each side by negative 1) q>12
