Hi, this is what I have so far and would like to know if it is correct. Find the real solutions of the equation by factoring.
x^3+8x^2-x-8=0
(x^3+8x^2)+(-x-8)=0
x^2(x+8)-8(x+8)=0
(x^2-8)(x+8)=0
(x-2)(x+4)(x+8)
