hey .. now hear me out... we already have an option to GIVE medals to people... what if we added the option to TAKE medals from people as well...?
I think it would give OS more of a Community feel and bring people closer together as we would have to form alliances whenever we come online, much like Quizmaster-meets-World of Warcraft, we already have the MMO, lets just add the RPG element to it... also

it would create micro-economies in medal farming practices, which would keep both the Economics and the Social Studies students occupied, and they'd likely end up cross-hiring some of the work out to the Maths students to calculate the greatest profits from the Supply-Demand ratio... everybody wins...?   ;D

oh that would actually game the system, at Open System we are actually focused on maintaining a friendly relation between users.
What you suggest would look good in a game, oh there are lot of games already!!
